i didn't get in to competitive/organized golf until after graduating from UT and moving to cleveland. i've played hudson mills, vienna park, carter park, and ottawa but never in a tournament. i only know casual golfers in that area but met one of the M2 marks once @ ottawa... he tried to recruit me for a tourny.

my cleveland buddies play in a lot of TADGA events... kipper, mel, sims, latina... i think daney lived in toledo last year.

a lot of ladies traveled long distances for that ice bowl. not sure there's a particular trick to getting the big winter turnout... we'd just been posting on the NEFA message board and recruitment went up. women getting other women amped to play. a lot of us had never met before and i think we were anxious to put faces to names. it's a sign of great things to come this summer!

Burke- Congrats on your first W. I actually am no longer in Chicago I moved out to Northern Colorado. Fantastic scene out here for disc golf. As for BG I doubt I'll be able to get there its double the distance it used to be for me. As for the tournaments out here they are HIGH quality. Most of the ams out here once they hit 940 they move up to open, why I don't know. But I did shoot 2 1000 plus rated rounds out here. Keep in touch

I'm, unfortunately, not hitting Vienna this week. MAYBE Friday, not sure. I've got a mad amount of papers due this week swamping me. I'll be out Saturday for sure at the tournament.

Right now I'm looking forward to it. My goal is 975 golf for the two TADGA tournaments left, and BG Ams... that'll get me to 960 next update.

Doubles is evry week. 10:00am first round. 1:00pm round if there is enough people interested. Check out the CCR club site. I am posting on there where we will be playing and how the tee pads are. Not sure if I know Z-man. He started palying in Washington after I left to come here.
