Ya, the meeting seemed to go well and that was the best doubles round I've ever played at westy. I really like throwing with you. You've got some mad skills. It's fun to watch. Anyway, friday might work for me,I'm not sure. I was talking with Shawn O'Keefe and Chip about a trip down to Whistler's Bend on friday but it's not for sure yet. Also, I'm not sure if Shawn B. could do a friday morning. I think he works days. I'll talk to john tomorrow and get back to you.
I like the doubles and handicap league idea, it seems as if it could allow the sport to grow in our town by organizing small and informal disc tournies with no prizes just pay out. It would be simple to organize and we could advertise on the new sign at the course. We could draw in more players by adding holes and doing Ace pots, and keep the entry at five dollars or less. These tournies could be AM only to focus of teaching the forrmalities and courtasy of westmoreland, which everyone dedserves to be informed of. And I know what you are all thinking, that we dont need any more golfers crouching at westie, but when the course is so crouded that there are constantly twenty people at whole one, the city has to think about other in town courses, which is what we need most.
