Played the mini at TL today. We played from the long tees & it got brutal on a couple of holes.16's long tee requires about 250 over trees & water just to reach the fairway; unless you bail out right over by short tee. Cleared 'em barely & followed with another shot about same distance. Still couldn't see around the corner to basket. One of my 2 6's on the day. I shot a 70 & felt lucky to get that. I don't know if rec will play those in the tourney, but it would make it interesting for sure. JD Ramirez won with a 51 & 60 won in Rec.A couple of guys shot in 80's. Man it is a great course. Heck I may play the mini again next Sun.

Good news about your house;bad about tree. As much as I cuss them I hate to see trees lost. I played TL today after wk. I shot a 62 mainly because I stayed out of the creek. But I did get 2 birds; one a park job over the creek. Guys I played with weren't so lucky. One came prepared wearing his swimsuit. I had to stay out of the water; I lost my golden retriever Sun I guess. Was looking for it yesterday & nowhere to be found. Hell getting old CRS disease is setting in. Made up your mind about playing TL? If you need a place to stay I got a couch. If you don't mind a little poor housekeeping.

Did You have any bad weather tonight? Tornado sirens are going off here right now. I doubt I will get to play HH because of work.GGGGRRR. But I definitely want to play TL. Small field size for both, so I better get on the stick. What are we going to do w/ Eloy... break a couple of fingers maybe. HeHe

Played the new Towne Lake course up in McKinney today. They had a mini @ 10am. Very nice course. I can't wait to see what its like in summer when trees are full of leaves. Lots of big tall mature trees. & creek running through middle. On Hole 2 I found that creek twice for dbl Circle 6. It is an instant favorite for sure. They have a tourney there soon; a 1 day on a Sun I think. Worth the trip.

I may try & get in a round before tourney over there but don't know. Stuck @ home right now. I got that dang stomach bug that's going around. Spent last night & most of today doing the porcelain waltz. What fun. I guess I'll see you next Sat. Is Eloy playing?

Whats G'briar course like? Played a couple rounds Sun 1 @ Mckinney & 1 in Plano. Didn't play great in wind. Yeah I am looking fwd to L'ville too, I need to get signed up. Was in the area today but not to play. Had to go to dentist. What fun. You coming over for any practice rounds?

Oops, I didn't realize I had a comment wall. Yes I decided on a portable basket. I kept putting it off until I found a good price, but I found a guy with a virtually new Innova Skillshot that he was willing to sell for $80. It's not the nicest model in the world, but I couldn't beat the price. So far I've enjoyed having it.

You or Eloy looking to play the PIO Sat? Trying to make up my mind. $35 is a little steep for a non-sanctioned event; unless you cash I guess. Weathers supposed to be nice except for wind I hear. Went out today after wk & played 9 in wind.. +10 w/2 dbls & only 1 par. Almost had 1 drive come back & hit me when big gust hit just after I released .It got about 150 ft out then went straight up & then glided back to my feet. Just shook my head.

Man what a course. You know when you left & I was putting my gear in my truck; well I laid my keys on the seat, turned to hit the bushes & closed my door...locking my dumb ass out. Finally got it unlocked after Josh came over & offered his help. Got the window cracked enough I was able to fish my keys with the clothes hanger. Sad part was I kept trying to open the door with the clothes hanger for a good couple of minutes after cracking the window before it dawned on me to just get the keys. DOH!. Anyway I feel funky now; enough smelt a little funky when I got home. I guess from working up a sweat trying to break into my truck. HAPPY NEW YEAR

Still planning on playing the Hangover. Saw where we are using temp baskets. Have you been out there yet?

Man I was feeling for you Sat as I was driving down to S'ville. Wind was blowing my truck all over road, I could imagine what it was like trying to play ; Mr Jim's all over again huh? Worked my butt off though. Been replacing subfloor in my mama's house. I saw the hangover classic was going to be at Gateway the 1st; might try to make that one. And Carrollton will be interesting if they play the Beltbuster layout. But I got to play period. Haven't got to play any lately.

Looks like I'm going to have to miss Crowley Sat. I have to go to Stephenville this weekend.Good luck. Maybe I'll see you at Carrollton the 28th. MERRY CHRISTMAS
