Its going to be harder to play in the winter up here in Chicago but not impossible. It took me a few tries before I found the right kind of clothes to wear in the cold to stay warm and still be able to throw. Still really nice weather were you are. Congrats on moving up in ratings. I got my 1st ratings 12weeks after picking up my 1st disc so I'm glad I'm moving up. Only a few weeks til Christmas. Have a great holiday.

Still haven't got to play. Found a disc today though. I have a 9 hole course on my mail route & found a disc laying by the practice basket. Belongs to JD Ramirez.Has several aces autographs on it so I bet he wants it back. I sent him a PM on PDGA. I see where there is another Dec tourney. In Carrollton the Sun after Xmas. I would to play there & Crowley, but don't know if I'll get to make either. Dang work.

I forgot to tell you. I won one of the daily tosses last week. A green Crystal Challenger, can't remember the stamp(.CRAP. Your music just kicked in& I had the volume turned up listening to Stars lose again.)Supposed to get it in mail soon?

Don't know if I'll be able to make it. Busy, busy, busy. But we'll see. How many holes per round? 24?Guess I should try & play a little before I forget how. Man I hate that it gets dark so early. I need to find a lighted field or something.

I can't believe I went up that much. I saw that they used 30 rounds, instead of 33 the period before. So I must have shed a real crappy round or 2.But Hey I finally broke 800. WOOHOO. I haven't picked up a disc since ACM. Really haven't had time. Been doing some remodeling at my mama's house; replacing the flooring. Reminded me why I don't do that for a living. And I ain't done yet. You playing the tourney at Crowley?

The course wasn't so hard, but we played long tees in morning & I couldn't keep it inbounds; or putt for that matter. I was so disgusted I was ready to quit & it didn't get a whole lot better in 2nd rd. I think I had 2 circle 6's & 4 circle 5's on the day. And I missed at least 1/2 dz. putts inside of 12 ft. I missed 1 that was barely outside drop-in range. Sure didn't help my rating any. Might be a while before another tourney too. I can't afford to waste money playing like I did. Casual golf for awhile; thats if I can find time for that even.

I had a great time. You and Joy made the tournament very fun. I can't believe they even gave 2nd place Rec Woman a prize, that was awesome. There weren't very many light weight discs, but I found 2. You have a great bunch of people in Texas and I hope I'm part of it next summer, just a little bit more south in Austin. Good Luck with your discing. Patti

Good luck to you & Eloy this weekend @ VPO. Wish I was playing. Money is still tight, but I'm going to try & scrape up enough to play at McKinney next weekend. I like that tourney & try to play every year. Whats your next tourney?

Yeah I saw that. My finances still suck though. Don't know when I'll get to sign up; or if I will at all. That'll suck. Would have liked to play Mesquite this Sun too. Man it's hell being broke. Went & played the local course last weekend; lost 2 discs in the same pond trying to throw the same shot. Then couldn't retrieve either one. & they were both FLX ($15 each). STUPID!STUPID!STUPID!!!

I'm going to have to wait a while. Can't even afford to pay attention right now. Saw that Weatherford has 18 now. Have you played out there yet? I came down with a bug Sun. or something; felt like crap all week. So didn't go to S'ville or nothing & no golf. Aarrgghh

Don't know when I'll get to play another tourney. Money's so tight right now, spending it all on my daughter. I just had to buy her a new dress for homecoming (ouch ).Wanted to play Mckinney this week, but couldn't get off. And Mesquite looks iffy too. So it might be VPO, I'll keep my fingers crossed & keep eating them PB&J sandwiches to save money. Got in a few holes last couple evenings here @ Allen course; almost caused a multi-car pileup when I griplocked & yanked one straight into oncoming traffic. Could just see myself trying to explain that to insurance man.

I'm in. GF can caddy for you. Should be a large rec division, maybe 40 by Sat. so you may have a lot of comp for DFL. Now that I've got a taste of plastic, I have to set my eyes on the prize.... Yeah right. Have you played either course? You will like the Lake, but it is tougher of the 2. LL Woods is open, unless they play sidewalk & beyond as OB. Then it gets tight. Always a fun tourney with the DD boys & weather is going to be great. Lets start now!!!!
