I talked to the Detroit Park super and I am in the process of outlining an e-mail to her with a few ideas. I will send her the image as well hoping they can get someone out there to fix basket 8 as soon as possible.

Regarding Belle Isle, like I expected I was met with a little resistence as soon as I began to discuss the park growth overall in Detroit due to budget cuts. Before too much was said regarding the city investing any funds which they do not have I informed her that the recent course in St. Clare Shores was entirely funded through community work and the city spent next to nothing. This shed a new light on the discussion but the light was barely a flicker. There is much to do. The initial thinking was to possibly rethink the previous model and create a temporary course just to see of the idea has any legs. I will keep you posted on any communications but I am not sure we will hear anything until the new year due to current budgets and administrational transitions in the political offices as the newly elected officials find their way.
