Chris, I don't know why I just happened to notice that the half disc on the left looked like the letter D, and the half disc on the right looked like the letter C, then when I saw that and realized that your nickname was "DC" I thought that was the reason you picked that picture as your avatar. That fact that you picked it before you realized that the avatar would only show the center of the picture is a fantastic "Co-ink-ee-dink".

I was having that same zen-like experience man, where I wasn't pulling hard or seemingly at all with a higher elbow and getting lots of spin that translated into lost more distance...wasn't all that accurate but was getting there when my shoulder went kaput. Have been doing the physical therapy thing for a few weeks and finally getting back up near 300 feet. Man I miss that feeling and will hopefully get it back before too long, but throwing well meant more time at the course so naturally the g/f was not happy with my improved drives.
Putting was of course a LOT easier from 20 than 50...sigh

I did play Spiker, which I hadn't played for almost 10 years to the day. I could barely move my fingers, it's nice, very much as I recalled and with new tee signs.

Not to mention I shot way better this year and from the longer tee pads!

I am gonna play East Liverpool today, and probably Spiker-Arboretum sometime tomorrow morning on the way home.

hey sry its last minute I didn't even plan to go home yet until last night and didn't plan to play deis until I saw I had to drive right past it to get to my g'mas house anyway. ill be there at 11:00 today for a round of super long tees but you probably have work or won't get the msg

Hey!!! Yeah it was a lot of fun!! So glad I finally got to meet you and play some golf w/ you! Sorry to hear you got an earful when you got home. That sucks. LOL I had to run Ron and his son to their dad's and then head to my uncles and STILL got there before everyone else. so... I took a nap. :P You playing the ice bowls? One in Canton on the 24th and one in Wooster on the 25th. Hope to see you at at least one if not both~!

Yeah i can't wait to get my first ace.... My addiction to DG will quadruple. LOL hell even my son got his first ace and he's been playing less time than I have! Aced hole 10 in Wooster from the longs! That turd.... yeah there's probably some sort of ninja jedi force field around that basket. I WILL get that hole one of these days... I guarantee it.

Yeah Wooster is very deceiving. LOL You should have been there for the Treebanger's Tournament... we made it 24 holes and the 6 temp holes were INSANE. All I kept hearing from everyone was that the course was a beast. LOL Ssshhhh... that's my sadistic side coming out. :D Can't wait for the next sanctioned event next year. I think we're having two... one around Memorial Day (Memorial Daze Haze) and in October (2nd annual Treebanger's). We'll also have the Ice Bowl and Ace Race as well. I'll have to hit up Dies here soon before the weather gets too bad and check it out. Three times now I've come so close to acing this one hole.. trying to remember which one.. I think it's 5 or 6. Anyway.. twice i've hit the basket and the last time I skipped off the side of the chains. DOH! I WILL get an ace one of these days if it kills me!!

Good work on Deis, it remains one of my Top Ten, even without tee pads!

I've never thrown a 150 TeeBird but I have thrown a 150 Sidewinder and I'm pretty familiar with it's heavier counter part (mid 170s.) In my experience the lighter disc have the same flight pattern but only require a fraction of the force to get them to perform. I like the 150s for mid range S-turn shots.
