oh........my........god !!!.......if im liein im diein, my buddy dan " the paper boy " berry, got his 2nd career ace on hole 6 at lincoln park in massillon ohio today, dan and marty thought it was trenied and lost sight of it, i saw it deflect off a branch on a tree and drop almost straight into the basket, it was nose down, so when it hit the chains it
slid down chains and into the basket hardly making a sound, i heard it because i watched it go in, no one else but me though saw it go in, i was waiting for him and marty to start wooping and hollering like he did when he got his first ace, but all they said was, wow, might not be to bad a shot, im like guys that was a ace!!!! they didnt believe me !!!! until we walked down to were you could see it in the basket, priceless!!!!
this is extra special because dan is having knee surgery done monday and this was going to be one of his last rounds of discgolf for awhile.
in case anyone is wondering were the name - " dan the paper boy berry " came from, it came from January ( yes thats her name ) she is a female disc golfer, from the other team in our group of four when we played the deis hill grand opening turney, me and dan took 1st in our division, January posted a joking blog on another website stating dan the paper boy was a sand bagger !!!! the paper boy reference refers to the discgolf bag he carries which is literally a times reporter paper delivery bag !!! yeh folks, white and complete with the bright orange florescent trim!!! and times reporter lettering on the side, aahahahaa,
the 1st attention he got with the bag that day was when we pulled up to the tourney, got out of the car and there was like 60 or more people standing around, talking, putting etc waiting for the tourney to start and someone from the crowd yelled out- hey, look at the dude with the paper boy bag!!! and 60 pares of eyes turned our way and heres dan, who by now is strutting around jokingly sporting his bag so every one could see it, and that combined with January's playful blog is how he got his nickname " paper boy " and in case your wondering, yes he still uses the same bag!!! but hey, thats part what makes him dan, my friend and a wild and crazy, hilarious!!! disc golfer, hears to you buddy and your leg healing quickly so we can hit the course again together .

ps - dan while your healing don't worry i will continue to make the sacrifice and keep playing, in your honer of course, lol, and hopefully catchup or pass you in the ace department,so i wouldn't wait to long to come back!!!

so if your out at one of our local courses and you see a couple guys playing a round of discgolf and one of them is sporting a white and florescent orange times reporter bag, feel free to give us a shout out, you will know its us, because i am quite sure no one else is sporting this partiiiiicular model golf bag, lol,

his final score was three under playing all holes as 3 pars ,darn good score considering the pain his knee was giving him and he could not use a run up for his drives, congratulations buddy !!!

Bike as in Motorcycle? You'll like Oxbow I think. It pretty well wooded and requires alot of skill to get par on most holes. If you come out on a saturday we could play Oxbow and the make a short drive to our other area tounament level course, Jamesville Beach. Jamesville is more wide open and the big arms shine here! Anyway bring on the woop!

yes of course, we called the course pro anf he reccommended deis hill so we played it the next day. i shot 65 on the middle tees, my dad shot 72 :)
its a great course, top 25
change a few holes like #6 and itll move up even. i love long open accuracy shots. on the 700ft uphiller near the road i got to the woods in 2 shots!

R U kidding? Deis makes my top ten. Terrific, intelligent and tough course design. The most physically demanding course I have ever played.
