hey bro, glad you made it out ot Sloan for the weekly. Its technically my home coure (closest to my house) but I in the Lumberton disc golf association. Hey, last year I took second in amature at the Johnson street Icebowl. I like that course, even got a CTP on the hole to the right (if your in the gazeebo area) you kind of throw down hill through the wood line and then the woods stop and the basket sits off to the right. That icebowl was my first time entering an event. Well, it was nice meeting you guys and I hope to get a chance to play more soon. Happy holidays.
Stock up on the discs that you like when you can, I am always in search of those hard to find favorites.
Thanks, it was an amazing weekend in Myrtle Beach. I played great and ended the season on a great note. I hope that your friends enjoyed the tournament. Be sure to check it out the pilot video on PDGA tomorrow at 8 pm.
I can't wait until I can golf again. This sport is suc a huge part of my life and to not be able to play is...well.....KILLING ME!! I do feel better today though. Only 6 more days until the stitches come out and the doc will let me know how much longer till I can golf again. I CAN"T WAIT!!
Thanks but I am no monster. Did he tell you about Michael Jo setting a new course record!! Now that's a monster! 51! I wish that I would have been able to watch that round. But we had a great turn out. No ofus can wait till next year. Hey are you going to be playing that charity dubs tourney in thomasville this saturday?

It all depends on what you are looking for.
The Star Teebirds seem to be more stable then the Champion version. I prefer the Star ones and they are my favorite fairway drivers by far. You need a mix of fairway drivers for the different situations that arise on the course. I like eagles as well for windy conditions and for a driver that never turns over. Try new discs and find what works for you. Goo luck out there.
Not sure off the top of my head. Hopefully soon but not really sure. I guess that I will have to look through the revised PDGA schedule to figure it all out.
Hey man, Welcome to the greatest disc golfer social network on the internet. I'm from Raleigh, NC and if you're ever down this way.. give me a shout. check out some NC clubs on here when you get the chance. I've been wanting to get up there to Cedar Rock but still haven't done so. Keep Huk'n.
Thanks, I will definitely do my best to repeat as Champion at the Players Cup.
I got sponsored during my Rookie year playing Pro at my first USDGC. I had won some huge tournaments earlier on in the year and big supertour in Canada during the summer. I had also just won the PDGA Rookie of the Year Award and was off to become a dominant force on the Tour.
I played a lot of tournaments out of state just to get some more competition and of course a better chance to make more money at the larger events. I didn't travel too far, playing a majority of the tournaments within 6 to 8 hours, which meant playing in about 5 or 6 states. I have never really played locally, not since my first couple of years in advanced.
Playing other places has allowed me to play better competition on a greater variety of courses. Start to branch out if have the opportunity to do so. Best of luck to you.
