hey man, it was great to meet you in Florence. I'm super stoked about playing redstone with y'all, but it will have to be after april 5th because that's Bowling Green Ams (which you should definately sign up for!!!) I will be practicing hard for that tournament, but after that, we should pick a weekend and go play all of the courses in the ville.
Tell Caren with a "C" to add me on here. I am excited she won this weekend! Although we were competing but I was just so proud of her!! Oh....and by the way, tell her that 3" really does matter even though I did not win!!! (inside joke) lmao
Yo Geoff,
Your course looks beautiful and with marked tee boxs, sweet. I play strats and teles also my favorite tele is my masterbuilt (Chris Flemming) 51' nocaster thinline, it freakin amazing! I now play a Lee Garver(Empire Guitars Calif.) strat style axe made out of mahagany with a flame maple top at gigs. It has humbuckers and a birdseye maple neck plays like a dream. Hope all is well and birdies and eagles to you and your frisbee friends. Drew Aslett
Hey Geoff, The pickups are TV Jones... one is a filtertron and the bridge is a prototype (TV had to wind three of them) made for me because my builder John Bolin (Boise ID) asked TV to match the output of the humbucker and the only reason that TV did it is because Bolin has made over one hundred guitars for the Rev. Willie G.(Billy Gibbons) and TV wanted Billy to hear good things about how he treats his customers, at least that what John thought. The neck is made of Ebony and the three sculls are copies of the belt buckle in the body. Sounds like you know something about guitars do you play? Drew Aslett
The Marriot huh? Awesome! We will be camping in the "Marri-Van" which is quite comfy actually. I am able to stand up in it even!I think I hunched over forever cause Billy was, then he told me he thought I was able to actually stand up and lo' and behold I have plenty of room - no jumping jacks of course but I can stand up and move around. lol I am glad Ken and his wife coming! Cocktails sound great! Let's get "squirrely!" lmao
I am so glad yall are going!! I am playing in my first ever tournament there!! Oh and Yes, My squirrel goes with me everywhere evidently. lmao
(By the way, the squirrel is playing a harmonica in that pic in case you were wondering! lmao)
