The Spam tourney this weekend felt more like home. I would say it was comparable to the old Vienna for the most part. I just enjoyed finally playing on my first flat course since being in the state!

LOL. Yes- the tournament I played yesterday was less than a mile from the Hormel factory where SPAM is made. My prize pack even consisted of a Spam dog tag and a Spam key chain. LMAO. Too bad I didn't have time to go to the Spam Museum. TFF.

The TD posted the results on PDGA, and he posted the Ams merch money in the "Prize" column as cash. Does this not screw them over in the sense that it looks like they accepted cash so they must now ALL play pro??? I e-mailed him about it and he seemed to find no problem in it what-so-ever. I just don't want to see a bunch of Ams get screwed because a TD is an idiot. Again, I wasn't sure, so I asked. I could be totally wrong in my assumption (about the cash... not about the idiot). Even if I am incorrect, he still was a little slow. I will NEVER play one of his events again.

Plus, it rained, and this course is a slip 'n slide when it rains. I fell about 7 times in 2 holes down in a gully. I looked like a train wreck when the round was done. LOL. Rough day, rough event, rough TD. Haha. I shot like 85o-ish and MAYBE 830-ish golf. Not DFL in MA2, but pretty close.
