Thank you Donnie,I am looking forward to being part of this awesome site.I hope the new year brings you Laughter and Happiness..I live in Hilo, Hawaii and its as rainy right now as when I lived in Eugene, Oregon...just much warmer! Aloha...treva
Donnie, thanks for the warm welcome. I went out yesterday and played in the rain here in Eugene, Oregon. It was muddy and cold, but I still had fun :) Donovan
It is a New Year's Eve of Japan (大晦日) tomorrow.
There are a lot of people who visit the Shinto shrine (神社) from the night to the New Year's Day of this day.
in the market again?saw your requests on forum.also saw the set you displayed that was just like the mauve one i offered you.i have minis of all types.enjoy the new year!
I also am expecting further development of Mini Disc Golf game.
I was able to have various meeting this year.
There was no year with the change this year though it began to associate with Disc and 20 years or more passed.
The influence of this by the development of media and the network is large.
It is possible to come in contact from the far-flung place with various people.
I am expecting more meeting to be next year.
And, if you come the book on the day, I will welcome it very much.
Thank you for a variety of worrying.
Because I am not a collector, it has the valuable one too much.
However, there might be a mini in that without.
We will inform of the one that it is possible to exchange it because it will publish little by little in the future.
.00001,
I would like you and I to work together on an article for the new PDGA mag that will start in 2009. I think if we ask the MDGF members and fans of mini disc golf from around the world to "chip in" with some cool mini golf stoies or information of their own and put it all together in a nice article we might get a good response from the BIG disc golfers. In other words it helps mini go mainstream. What do you think? Call me, we'll chat. Let's get the ball rolling. Rock the chains!!!!!!!!
Donnie,
Thanks for the invite & I will seriously consider making the trip. I still need to send you my member app. for MDGF & A lot of practice will be needed to compete at that level for sure.
The "orange chain" basket was another trophy basket( no longer in my possesion) made of 5/16 hot roll w/ #2 zinc coated chain & stainless "s" hooks.
I did put a MDGF link on floydeye.com using the only thumbnail I could scavenger, if you have a logo you can send me please do.
I hope my replies made some sort of sense & look forward to hearing from you soon.
The orange one w/ the skulls is a 24 chain fully functional mini trophy basket I built for tourney called the "scream" in chillicothe , OH. It's 52" tall w/ both pipe sections. 12" diameter chain as. w/ 15" dia. basket.
check out floydeye.com for more mini baskets . everything is custom made to order. full size, mini, trophies and so on.
hit me up at floyd@floydeye.com I'd like to talk to you about the specs(dimensions) you see ideal for a "regulation" size mini basket.
That Disc is the one of the university in the northern part of Japan.
In this district, there is a big bear in Japan that is called "Higuma".
It is a team name that takes the name.
Hey dude, Not a problem at all. It's nice to expand the music. I'll have to take a look at your playlist tomorrow when I'm working. Take it easy and enjoy some of that new stuff.
As for crossing paths my DG career dried up at the start of the 90's. However I did compete in the World Overalls from 99 -04, which was cool. The last two years my wife Terry and our three boys took part in it too. It seems there to be also of mini hole makers now. Even wham-o and what looks like a plastic one. Sales of Minisotas have been down since 2002 but I am putting an effort out to spread the word again.
