Yeah, the two courses I played were at MacKenzie Park on the southeast coastline and Wailoa park in downtown Hilo. I preferred MacKenzie for the beauty and terrain. Both courses are object courses unless there is a tournament but don't let that detract you from playing them.
If you plan on going, just contact some of the local golfers and they'll show you the course layout. Plus, all the castaways are really cool guys and alot of fun to play with. I found that with the beauty of the island it didn't even matter how I threw, it was just good to be taking it all in.
