The picture is a Great Horned Owl with the remains of it's lunch - a Barn Owl. I took this picture at Willow Creek where I work, it was a lucky shot with my point and shoot digital as the owl swooped over my head.
Hope you can make it back to Oregon for some golf - let me know if you do.
was wondering if there was anyway i could get a hold of some of those pics taken at the masters cup? if theyre going on the jellies website that woulld be awesome as well. anyway, i should be able to make it to the jelly jam- if i dont hear from u before then- ill just hassle you there for the pics! haha
take care buddy
you know, some old gig. everyone around here is chompin' at the bit for spring to get here. I think this weekend is going to be the first 'real' spring-like weekend. oakway (our new course) is a blast. hole-for-hole ball/disc golf course. par is 65. a great change from dexter.
send or post some pics when you get chance. i would love to see what you're working with. be well.
Cloud my friend it was a pleasure meeting you and talking about Disc. I'm Glade you have enjoyed Waller and I look forward to heading your way some time in May, my daughter has wrist band tickets for her and her boy friend to the Board Walk in SC and I will be dropping them off most likely leaving the rest of the day for golf. I will send you all the details as we get closer. Thanks again and see you soon.
cloudskee! whaddup! happy to hear you are doing so well. Sounds like you got some really good things going on. Kudos to your activeness with the sport and keeping the dream alive. we're working on some good things up here as well, but as you know, eugene isn't the easiest city to work with. plenty of hoops to jump through.
my achilles is nearly fully "heeled" and I recently graduated (again) with a degree in education. things are good. been playing great golf.
I might have to come down and say hi sometime soon. next time you're up here feel free to drop a line and know that you got a place to stay.
Sladden is still the secret place to putt!
What's up bro!
Good to hear your still huckin'...
08' has been a good year for me too... I made the jump to pro in the fall and while I never made cash in the Oregon Series I have won o few winter events, one in Eugene and one in Roseburg and that has got me dreaming big. Yeah, the new Laurelwood course is sweet, elevation change on every hole and a few monsters. Who knows how long these pay to pay courses will be around, but it's good to have options.
