Hey! I was looking up people in the Fredericksburg area. I live in Charlottesville, but come to Fredericksburg a lot on the weekends. I am still somewhat new to the game and have been looking for more women who play or find out if there are workshops in the area. Do you know of any? Thanks!
Looks like its B-day time. Hope everthing is great. Love the Paw-Paw course. Wife's mom lives in Ridgeley,WV now and my wife grew up in Cumberland. I always make it a point to bring my bag when we go to visit. Love the area and have been to Canaan Valley on ski trips too. Well happy b-day and greetings from Florida.

On behalf of Juliana Korver, I am honored to announce her inaugural ladies-only disc golf event: Juliana Korver Presents La Vie en Rose.
This unique event will take place February 14-15, 2009
at The Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, FL.
In Juliana’s words:
"Are you curious why this disc golf adventure has the name that it does? Literally La Vie en Rose translates to “the life in rose”. The English equivalent to this is “life through rose-tinted glasses” or even “life is rosy”.
If someone looks at something through rose-tinted glasses, they see only the pleasant parts of it. It is a way of life. It is an attitude that I aspire to maintain.
La Vie en Rose is a disc golf event that intends to combine many of the pleasant tournament aspects that we have experienced over the years as well as present new ones that will create a wonderful, memorable and rosy weekend.
This event is about warm fuzzies, feeling good and friendship. I hope that you all can experience the weekend through rose-tinted glasses and perhaps even take the attitude home with you to help you appreciate all that is good in life.
This will truly be a unique weekend that I hope and expect you will love."
Juliana has made the initial event announcement in person at the U.S. Women’s Disc Golf Championships and on the PDGA discussion board. For lots more information visit the tournament website:

hi tiffany congratulations on your win (almost) at the grange crabfest i am truly sorry and ashamed that a " PRO" had to step in and steal your glory i know as others must surely know who the true winner is again congratulations love peace happiness linda
I really really want to play, but I may have to nurse my knee back to health. Can I let you know in a couple of days? Otherwise, if you have someone else lined up for a partner, then go for it. Either way, I'll see you THIS WEEKEND!!! Woo Hoo!
Where is that tournament? I might be interested if I can work it into my schedule. I literally just committed to watching a kid for some extra cash Saturday night.
Me and Patty are carpooling this weekend for the Codorus tournament. It's a gorgeous park with 2-27 hole course :) They're doing a safari mix, so it'll be pretty challenging. Interested?
Hey! Not entirely sure if I can do it yet, but if I can, you want to partner up for the Grange Va Open doubles on the Friday before the tourney? We'd probably be the only girls, but it should be fun and good practice. Let me know!
Welcome to the site. This is definitely the best place to keep in touch with disc golfers. Oh and dont forget to join the Team LSDiscs club on my page:) Keep on Discin
