My doubles partner, I thought -10 would have done better than 3rd, but hey, we had smiles all around, eh?
I'm downloading a few photos from that weekend, stop by my site and check them out.
Are you in for Lakewood?
Pass along my congrats to your wife on your anniversary, take care and see you at the next WA event!
Thanks for putting us up and putting up with us. I hope your wife won her marathon. I saw Skellinger caught Sexton - cool! Next time you come down here and I will host. Southern Idaho State Champs August 23-24th (my birthday), you should join us! Thanks again!!!!
It looks rugged and extreme. I love that!!! Played in NY at Hyzer Creek that course has some rugged'ness too it. We had a real Bad ASSSS course here in FL....yes flat ass FL...Called the Gran Canyon in Brookesville. Od Lime rock quarry abandoned since the 40's...Very Extreme...scary elevation. Downright dangerous to play by your self.
The action shooting I do is pretty intense sometimes....a major blast!!! HA!! Definitely a different scene from disc golf.
Yeah, that sounds like some kinda good time there in May. Man...that pool stands out on the google earth zoom in. It looks freaking huge!!!!
I'll probably come up on a Friday or Sat and spend to Tues in that area before heading towards Eugene. How far is Mt Rainier from Auburn...easy access to get close? not like the summit or anything like that....I imagine it's winter up there year round anyway.
Big Ter is on here...Hellava good guy...he's from and in NorCal..He came to FL back in 04....and was greeted by hurricane Charley and her two ugly sisters Francis and Jeanne. They didn't treat his endevour into the motel business too well....
You can take a ferry from Seattle to Victoria I dont know how long it takes then you can take a ferry to Gulf Islands every Island has 5 or more courses If you ever come up in may the Pender Bender is going on thirty or more years It attracts people from all over close to 200 people. Its a laid back event because of the parties every night you can show up anytime before 1pm and play with the group of your choice the winning score this year was Glen Whitlock with a 39 down I think for 54 holes. It happens May long weekend its a must make at least once in your life the only downside is the Canada U.S border it sucks every time.
Cool. I got the number so when I get up there I'll call you. I'll plan my trip so I'm there for doubles on Monday. Pender Island does look like a kick ass course. How for north is from Auburn? Looks like a few hours.
what's happening....we got a Johnny Mac in Orlando...or J Mac...and his trusty side kick 'Sparky'
Anyways liked your review of White River. I got an Uncle and some cousins in Auburn....heading that way mid Sept. Looks like I will definitely play at White River. What kind of league stuff happens there and when?
The pictures of Pender Bender 08...what course is that?
From there I'm heading south to Eugene to hang with some old friends a few days, catch up with 'Big Ter' ...play some of those courses...party yada yada!!!
Disc golf has just started in NB, which is good because I have won 4 straight tournements!...:) Heading to the Canadian Open ON Toronto Island next week. Life is good.
Congrats on the wedding!! I as well got hitched 2 years ago to me long time girl friend Heather. If your ever in the East come for a visit, I have a little 9 hole course on the property.
