Some bad news, I wont have a car until 12pm in denver, so i won't make tee time. Danielle and I will be heading north to Estes, but I think we can stop somewhere for 9 at that time. I imagine 12:30-1pm. You said you will be playing nine somewhere 2 miles from longmont after leagues? Perhaps i can jump on that. Let me know.
I'll be sure to talk to the old lady about it. She originally was fine with it. what time will you be playing? and are you on www.discgolfscene.com? I would love to have that score and league on my scene page.
I should be fine with the dollar ace pool. Thanks a lot for keeping me in the loop!
hey I was wondering if you could hit me back and let me know how you attatched your huk lab patch and how its holding up as I have the same bag and patch but am leery about ironing-don't want to melt or f-up my bag-I'd appreciate it -later ROWMRO
I am thinking about running a collegiate tournament in Kearney next fall. If you aren't going to Georgia this spring, but want to in the future, you might want to get some experience playing as a team. We will most likely do the same kind of format (some singles and some doubles) that they do for Nationals. If you are interested, you should get together 2 or 3 other players and start practicing. Let me know if you think you could get a team together, or if you know of anyone else from Colorado colleges that would be interested in playing. I'd like to have representatives from all of the surrounding states to come to this tournament. I'll let you know what is up closer to the fall.
Yeah, we started a team at UNK (Kearney, NE) two years ago. We really don't get any help from the school as far as uniforms or discs, or actually anything at all. We run fund raising tournaments throughout the school year to help us pay for the gas, hotel room, etc. on our trips. We get a good response from local businesses that we ask to donate prizes for the fund raising tournaments as well. There is one sort of local collegiate tournament for us in Council Bluffs, IA, but the main one that we go to is the National Collegiate Disc Golf Tournament in the spring. You should check out their site www.ncdgu.com for details about that one. It is a lot of fun. Good luck with your team!
This summer we shot two videos I thought would turn out really well: the basic backhand drive and anhyzer drives. Neither have been produced and maybe never will. That is up to the braintrust at Discraft to decide.
For both videos we had a variety of Pros contribute and a lot of film taken. Who knows. I don't get a vote on those issues.
That would be sweet as long as it doesn't conflict with work, have to take it when you can get it this time of year-wait, I guess that goes for disc too, huh?... If the snow melts enough and I'm in Ft. Collins for a bid we could jam Edora...
Are you aware that there are colleges with competing disc golf teams? There's collegiate championships also for at least the last three years. I'd link it here, but I can't remember off hand where I found it.
Prices depend on a few different factors (size, complexity, plot/print). Just pop us me an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org and let me know what quantities and size you are interested in. Also, feel free to send an attachment of the image in preferably a vecorized file format (ie. eps, ai, photoshop).
