Dave i took 2nd place out of 23 players at the ace race today ! one ace two metals, not a big score LOL, funny thing is i actually tied one of the local semi pros, so we had to do a toss off for second and third, he went first and unleashed a baaaad throw that hit a tree 15 feet from the teepad LOL, so i step up and instead of tossing a nice easy 20 or 30 footer, just enough to win, i cranked one out there that went down and landed next to the pin, half the people were like, hey man nice drive ! the rest were saying yeh nice drive, now walk down the hill and get your disc dumb@ss LOL, anyway they gave two discs for second and one for third, first place which happened to be my buddy got 7 discs and a bag, and boy did he need one, so i was stoked for him, i totally didn't expect to place or go home with anything other than the prototype discs, hat and mini, this was my first ace race, i will definitely make this an annual event to attend.
I would be happy to. Let me know where to send the schwag.
Sincerely,
Steven Dodge

No, that would be the Blue Challenger that I beat you silly with. The Aviar is a new addition since I threw my old Aviar in the pond at P.H. But I bet I could use it to beat you silly this summer. :)
My dad is from Rumford and mom is from Livermore Falls. I've got aunts & uncles in Oakland, Auburn, South Portland, and Kent's Hill plus cousins spread all over New England. Relatives on my mom's side have owned and run Kent's Hill Orchards for years.
Temps haven't been all that warm here either but our local club has been running a "Winter Warriors" doubles series every weekend since November. Good turnouts this year (41 yesterday) regardless of the weather...
Hey there! Actually, both of my parents are from Maine; although I was born & raised in Alaska. I was able to play several courses when I was out for my sister's wedding in 2006 (Dragan Field, D&D, Beaverbrook). I even got to play in the 2006 Cranberry Valley Championships the day after the reception! Last summer I got play at BAP in Gorham while I was visiting my grandmother. You folks have some nice courses out your way!
I really enjoyed my 2004 trip through the beautiful state of Maine. I got to play some really cool courses in Auburn, Brunswick, Caribou, North Monmouth, Sidney, Turner (got to try their homemade Apple pie) and Vassalboro. While your up in this area, I'd also recomend visiting New Brunswick's Hopewell Rocks as well as to travel to PEI to play their course in Strathgartney Provincial Park.
I look forward to my next visit, til then may the course be with you-------------------------------------- - +
