I am looking to play in the asia open in feb next year and if i do this means i will have to throw some 150 plastic. At the moment i throw 170 to 175 plastic mainly detroyers, eagles, rocs and aviars. I was wondering seeings you play the Japan open alot if you could let me know some good 150 class innova discs? and also any tips on throwing 150 class discs?
Any help you can provide would be appreciated
Hello Avery.I watched you play a few holes this year at the worlds semi finals this year.I was wondering if you could tell me about some of your memories of Brent Hambrick.I met him and Dan Busick at the 3 Rivers Open in Ft.Wayne,IN back in the mid 90's.He seemed like such a down to earth guy, signed a couple of discs for me,took time to encourage me about my game.Good luck with your career Avery.
I've since ordered a number of the star eagle-x's, they prove themselves all the time in the wind.
Congrats on the 1st place finish at Tupelo, great showing and awesome eagle on a tough hole! I had a couple friends make the drive down to play advance, and they said it was amazing watching you drive and run through the course.
I'll have to keep an eye open for the DVD when it hits the shelf. Thanks again for answering my question on the wind I find that I play more cautious when its windy but I know that this is a confidence issue for me personally, I was curious as to how a top player approached the issue. Thanks again!
Awesome, I'll keep an eye on the Zonedriven sight. I defiantly want to watch you throw a round, I've seen every piece of video that you have out and have studied all the videos on DGRUS and YouTube but unfortunately nothings rubbed off:) One question for you tho, when you played the Japan open it looked like it was extremely windy, how does this affect your game. Do you change the disc in your bag or do you find that you lay up more shots and take par instead of going for the chains?
Congrats on all your success this year. Would love to meet up at some tourneys next year to see some of those distance contests from your videos in real life. Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Hey Avery, I was wondering if you guys were going to make it to MI this coming season? I know that Dave likes to throw the Lumberjack Open in Kalamazoo , do you think that you and Val might make an appearance this year?
Thanks for the info, I have a couple Star Eagle X's that I really enjoy because unless there is something really wrong with my throw, they just flip to flat and go a good ways before fading with a pretty predictable skip. Best of luck this weekend out at Tupelo Bay, SC. You staying at the legendary Viking inn?
