It has been a tough year for me as far as life goes. Disc has had to take a back seat this year do to that. I have not had the chance to play that I would like (groin pull, WHAT FUN). I did get to take a road trip with my bud from online here DC down to southern Ohio and West Virginia to hit some courses and that was a great time last Sept. Hope to do a trip with him again this coming year.
All the pictures I see that you have of Lake Shore are of Hole 1. Hope this helps and that I didn't miss a picture. Good to hear from you my friend and have to ask this, when are you coming this way again? SHEP
Welcome Back...... good to hear from ya again. The Shoot the Breeze Tourney was this past weekend put on by the club at Lake Shore.... Great turn out considering the raising gas prices....great weekend for a tourney as the weather was sunny with a strong wind that changed the course from day to day and made working and playing the event comfortable. Wish you could have made it as I would have loved to have meet ya there. Hope you play well this year in the tournies that you do play in. (Sorry teach as not sure if I spelled tournies right so forgive me and please don't put a lower grade on this when grading my body of work......LOL) I am jealous of the fact that you have the whole summer off but I guess that this sport favors Teachers so take advantage HUH? Take Care bud and Talk to you later.
Hey man love the pics and the last one with the purple driver and the white discraft shirt with the tan cap and sunglasses makes you look like a Pro. BTW the is a mean face you got there so don't mess with this guy. Ha Ha. That is a great pic. Who took that shot as that is a great action shot. The kids look like they are hours and hours of fun. Looks like you and your wife have your hands full for life. How the game going? Someone here broke the glass out of the sign at Lake Shore Park and the Park is now having problems with vandualism that has never happened before. The club left the baskets on wheels for years and no one touched them. What a shame that times are a changing in this sport. Hope life is treating you and your family well and talk to you later. Shep
The pic of the basket in the snow looks like 90% of our courses here still and it's easter sunday. Let Dave townsend and I know if you make it up here some time soon You"ll have to come check out Sabattus Disc Golf SDG ROCS 2 Great 18 hole courses 1 with 2 pin postions and a 9 hole short course geared towards the Kids and newbies and us that need short game practice. Have a good day and keep HUKIN
Thanks for the invite and the same goes here as if you ever get back this way. I have never been out that way as I am afraid to step foot in Broncos country as you guys have killed my beloved Browns through the years......Yes we still hate John Elway here....sorry off subject but keep in touch and look forward to future conversations.
Yeah, I saw your review and it is a great review. Also that is a great drive you got there as I wish I could hit that drive. I thought you should have went for it from there. No risk, No reward. HA HA. It is great to talk to someone who knows my home course and I am looking forward to playing this summer with some of the people I have meet through this site. Man, I can't wait for SUMMER. No instead we had an Ice Storm here a couple of days ago. Great throwing to you....
Wow man that pic looks just like the 1st hole here in Ohio at Lakeshore Park. I did a double take when I looked at it. Where is that pic taken? BTW, love the Rush on your music. Have you seen them live as they are great. Take Care. Shep.
Hey dude whats up? we actually dont dye our own discs. we let josh hamm (widye) do it for us. we love helping out other disc golf companies:) but he's does sweet dyes...send him a message and ask him..cool guy. let me know if you have any other questions, i'd be glad to help out. Lars,
Yeah...I just kind of hung around and hit two putts at the right time and I got lucky with that upshot. I'm still sore today! At Johnny Chris was telling me about Sakuna Pines...he said there was knee deep snow out there! It's tempting, but I'm actually thinking of defending it on Sunday afternoon at Bird's Nest...that's tentative, though! I'm watching the weather closely.
The Monster Manual, of course...under the heading for "Yeti"...because of my last name, I've been called Wild Thing, Wildman, Wild Beast, which progressed into Bigfoot / Sasquatch / Yeti. No relation to Jay Reading, but I've known him since 2000 & have had a chance to hang with him at a couple tournaments.
