With this format using the handicap it really makes about any match pretty even, but more than likely you will be playing with someone who isn't that far off your rating if not better. That is why I said we draw for matches. You will be in the open/club division, so you will be drawing out of those guys who are playing in that field. You could be playing against Kieth Aten or Craig or Leonard there are many good players that will be there, I think you will be surprised.

The reason I say that is because we draw for matches at lunch to make up cards. If you are not able to do that and want to call me at 734-260-4365 I will draw for you so that we are all set when we get back to the course and we don't have to worry about it. I'm sure it won't be that big of a deal to just add you on a card either way but it is just easier to know who and how many are going to be there.

With the handicapped match play format you will possibly be playing with someone who has a lower rating than you. For every 10 points better your rating is than your opponent you have to give them one stroke on a hole of your choosing. Each hole is worth 2 points, so say you give them a stroke on hole 1 and they score a 4 and you a 3, you both tie on that hole in points (1-1). If you gave them a stroke on a hole and you get a 3 and they also score a 3 they get both points.
