Hey Sarah, I was in Ft. Lauderdale for a couple of months. Playing at Tradewinds park and Easterling park. Where are you? What have you been up to . Im in Athens right now.
I'm loving the art and the artistic approach to the dyed disc. Was the disc scuffed up and scratched to get that look ?? Keep doing it. I'd love to see more. Do you paint as much anymore?
Girlfriend... it has been way too long. Come visit me in Athens :(

On behalf of Juliana Korver, I am honored to announce her inaugural ladies-only disc golf event: Juliana Korver Presents La Vie en Rose.
This unique event will take place February 14-15, 2009
at The Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, FL.
In Juliana’s words:
"Are you curious why this disc golf adventure has the name that it does? Literally La Vie en Rose translates to “the life in rose”. The English equivalent to this is “life through rose-tinted glasses” or even “life is rosy”.
If someone looks at something through rose-tinted glasses, they see only the pleasant parts of it. It is a way of life. It is an attitude that I aspire to maintain.
La Vie en Rose is a disc golf event that intends to combine many of the pleasant tournament aspects that we have experienced over the years as well as present new ones that will create a wonderful, memorable and rosy weekend.
This event is about warm fuzzies, feeling good and friendship. I hope that you all can experience the weekend through rose-tinted glasses and perhaps even take the attitude home with you to help you appreciate all that is good in life.
This will truly be a unique weekend that I hope and expect you will love."
Juliana has made the initial event announcement in person at the U.S. Women’s Disc Golf Championships and on the PDGA discussion board. For lots more information visit the tournament website:

This weekend! In Rome! There are still spots open cuz it is a B tier and, hence, more spots available. Call me today if you are interested, we can probably lodge you at Pete's parents' house. Going to the Rome Brave's games too!
Interesting.. I am gonna be there the weekend of the 17th for the Ridge Ferry Open (which you should play, btw, there are 13 spots left). Pete is actually gonna be there I think this weekend... but I have to be in Atlanta on Saturday morning for my baby cousin's ballet recital and birthday party (it's gonna be so cute..:) ... but maybe we can hit up downtown ATL at some point? Thursday night? I dunno? Call me.
Hey, I stumbled onto your page (you know how it is when you're a bored disc golfer sitting at work, right?), and I saw your pictures of Tuscawilla, in Daytona. I played that course by chance about a year and a half ago and as a resident of Oregon, didn't even think about alligators near the ponds. Are there any there? I didn't get the impression that there were, but...
Have you played at the PDGA Disc Golf Center yet? I was there a couple of years ago when it wasn't quite finished yet. How are the courses in georgia? Are there alot in your area. Hope to talk to you in the future....ttyl
I did the Papa smurf with markers also :) I got the pic from a Pez candy package from the 80's. Still have the Pez package and also a Gargamel (spelling?) too. I'll be posting up pics of my new dye's very soon. I hae two new x-caliber discs that I am going to dye, but not sure of what design to go with.... maybe I'll have some vinyl designs done? I use fishing worm dye....yeah, wth right? it's a bit messy, but it takes to the disc in seconds and lasts for 9 years (so far, that's my oldest one) Anyways... great artistic work none the less!!! :) maybe I'll see ya playing one day.... Josh
