Have you looked at the new Z Nukes? Their rim is suppose to be smaller than the ESP version. It truly reminds me of a Boss, but less stable. I put them together and I could not see ANY visable diff. OK, I know you were talking about the Katana, but I figure with a thinner rim. The Z Nuke might be that "Katana" option for you.
As for the Gator. Hmmmm..I already have "7" Champ/CFR's. Part of me thinks "better stock pile them", but on the other hand. How much is too much? I still have my very first one and two in the back up/break in possition. Ahhh heck, how much are they? I just might need an extra one lol!
Took the Gator out for a break in round. Man-O-Man! I've had my current one for four years now. So needless to say, this is on overstable sob! However, it still has the "I'm just going to plop right down next to the basket" skip and glide. That made this disc a must have imo.
Thanks again Brandon!
P.S. Hope some of those discs are working out for you.
Sweet! I knew the Halo had the potentioal to be a long disc, but I just couldn't generate the power needed for it. Yet I can throw the Nuke and Katana? Guess there just not as stable.
Man, I could remember when I HATED the Roc. I couldn't see what the big deal was? Most people say you should start out with a midrange disc, but I think you need to build some knowledge of disc flight first. I say this, because it was only after I figured out the fundamentals of disc flight. That I finally understood why everyone digs the Roc.
Well, I'm glad you like the discs.
Hey Brandon!
Sooooooo, did you get a chance to throw any of the discs yet? My money is on the Flick, but I only throw a 150 class. That makes a big difference with that overstable monster.Well, hope you are enjoying the long weekend.
Wow, what timing. Well, I couldn't send you a CE Firebird. I'll tell you, I bought the thing USED and have been throwing it for about 3 years. It's finally broken in just the way I like it. However, I did throw in a disc I think you will like. It's a max weight....$#@!%$^&. Well since your birthday is coming up. I don't want to ruin the suprise. Oh wait...you can't open the box until Dec. 25th...
Brandon,
Instead of me asking "do you like this disc? Have you tried this one?" Why don't you just give me a wish list of some discs. I Already have the Halo's, Flick, and Talon. I do have the Star Max, but it's a 175g disc. I'll still send it if you want it, but just let me know on some others.
Well, back to frickin painting! Arrrgh!!!
Ya, I dig my Champ Katana's. I bought a bunch of the 2nd runs before people bought them up and jacked up the price. The plastic was an experimental "gummy" type. So there nice and floppy. The Masters CFR's are nice to, but they are about as stable as the farting lemon ones.
So I thought it best to ship you a Talon over the Reaper. Mainly do to weight, but even though it's a 2.0 and the Reaper is a 2.5. I think it's more stable for some reason. Go figure? What are your thought on the Max and Monster? I could never get the Max to go very far for me and the Monster could never beat out my Firebird. So now they are just collecting dust!
They range from 166g to 168g. I tell ya after some seasoning AKA...trees jumping out in the middle of the fairway :-\. This disc is really adding some "D" to my game.
So, cool. I'll send it with the others. If you don't dig it, just give it to a good home lol!
Hey Brandon,
Have you ever thrown the Reaper? It's a 2.5 same as the Flick, but it may be a bit longer. I was going to send it, but I thought I'd ask first. Just in case it's a disc you don't care for.
