Puna has no hotels. It's not a town but a district or area of the island. You can find a vacation rental house. Check it out closely though. Some places are dives. I'll keep you informed as to the location of the Sunday round that week. But Some of us will play at the course you want to throw. And the Tuesday afternoon round is always in Wailoa. Go to the google map link on my page and it's set on the parking lot in the park where we meet up.

hey bro, was talking with Terry last night about the rod'n'bobbs beacons, i know you guys have mentioned them in the past and i was curious about buying a lot of them for future use. Keep me informed of your plans for visiting Hilo. We'll make sure you get round at any of the area parks. We don't have mini tourny's but Mackenzie is a Great course. We play sunday's at 9 AM at one of the three courses. Mackenzie, Wialoa in Hilo or the U.H. Hilo campus And Tuesdays at Wailoa at About 4:20.

WOW! LOL! That is OUTSTANDING! ... Good folks doing good work and having a good time! I remember being out there during rutting season and I thought I was about to get plowed by three deer who ran across the horizon of the hill at lightning speed and then in my direction. I'll definitely have to come out there to visit now, good timing too since Im jobless as well as Chris, lol.

Can you get me a pic of it? I can dye it. I typically charge $18 for a dyed star plastic disc ($4 shipping 1 disc). For a custom job, I charge a 1-time set up fee from $8-$10 depending on complexity. I don't have a 172g white Wriath, only 170 or 175 in white. You can see my entire selection at sickdisc.com

Hey Gabe... I was actually aiming my last commnt at Gabe from a few comments before yours :) my view of the whole situation is pretty much the same as yours...

those all sound good.. took a while to read and envision, most of the places you described sound almost around the areas i was thinking. the only concern on there that was different than what i was thinking was #10... we will have to address the thickness of the ground cover in that general vicinity to make that a player friendly area till it gets stomped down... i know there is a concentration of poison ivy/oak/sumac in that disc eating no mow area....

Cool, Chris is real new to the game but he is a supervisor of some kind for one of the citys in the area. We had visiting golfers from San Angelo, Junction, San marcos, and Austin yesterday. Then this morning I played Circle C in Austin this morning. I'm Tired. Good luck! Larry

Hey Dave, hope the funderaiser went well. One of the new golfers here has 2 brothers who live in Weatherford. They will be coming out to zboaz or the other Weatherford course. They're newbies but you need all you can get. They're nice guys, treat them well. Hope you meet them, Adrian and Chris Valdez.

Due to the fact that there is no pre-reg and thus we have an undetermined number of participants, we will use a format like tee times. When a card of five people are ready, we'll start them as early as 8am if possible. The last card will go off at 9am. This should ease the flow and get the Crowley crowd on the road in time for the mini there as well.
I will explain the rules at the first tee to everyone as they get ready to tee off and are waiting for the prior group to finish the hole.
This should allow us to give out the CTP prizes around 11:30 or so.

Also, there may be a special round of doubles afterward with a payout and no entry depending on the number of people we are able to draw for the Fundraiser.
I hope to see alot of people come out for this event.
