Yeah, the conditions last Saturday was crazy especially all that mud! But compared to what I went thru the weekend before that in Zebulon NC for the first 2 rounds in the Dogwood Crosstown tourney, it was much better. That's because the winds were gusting around 45-55mph all day. See you in BG & the Riverside Drive after that.
Heck ya great playin with you too! Wish i could have done better first round but thems the breaks.. great music selection! I am a big fan of the dead. Hope to see you down there keep in touch!
Check out this site http://home.comcast.net/~tpozzy/prodrives.htm This has some great tips for improving our drives. What I took from it was I need reach back further by swinging my left arm back. I think if my back will allow this motion I can hit that 500' mark. Now if that is achievable I will have to learn to control it.
Sure would be fun to see you hit that 400' mark this year. That would make those young guys whimper.
Hey Rocky, I added some pictures to my page but I would like to make it into a slide show. Do you know how? I saw Val Jenkins had one one her page so there must be a way.
Thanks for the invite Rocky. This site looks pretty cool. I am looking forward to an awsome 2008 season. Let's show these young guys that these old farts are a force to be reckoned with. I know that new power grip of yours will launch you further than you could ever imagine.
Haha, how could you not!? My town's always listed in these PDGA pre-registered players. My being up there in Ohio at almost every tourney that you've played must have fooled you. I used to live in Columbus though, from 1991 to 2003 before I moved back to my hometown. Of course I could never stay away from the Cols area & Ohio. =D See you soon in one of these tourneys & have a Happy New Year.
Thanks for the comments. Been playing DG since 2003, but was hooked after my first throw. In fact, the sun just came out here in Ohio, and I am going to head down to the course for a round or two.
Hih Rocky, WOW, 20 plus aces ? great throwing. Welcome and I hope that you'll sign on as one of my friends and contribute to one of the groups I started, THE DISCTIONARY. Check my page from time to time to hear some fun music, read my goofy blogs, see my disc designs and offerings for sale on ZAZZLE or watch for great ideas and other things to come that will change the world. Let's start with a little thing like peace for all and a disc golf within walking distance for every human inhabitant worldwide. Peace to you and yours and welcome from the michiganartist, lil charlie bishop.
