Monkey, I am a big wildlife advocate, and have volunteered at the Florida Audubon Birds of Prey Center here. Many of the disc golf courses in Florida have Red Shouldered Hawks on them. They make a lot of noise, and defend their territories. At Tuscawilla in Daytona, they harass the players. They fly to within ten meters, and try to scare us away by screeching real loud, and looking right at us as we play by! They are fascinating, eat almost anything small that moves. They fly right over us with their prey in their talons. I was amazed to find out that they eat a lot of crayfish from the canals along the course! At Coachman park in Clearwater, there is a family of much larger Red-Tailed Hawks nesting in the canopy only 30 feet above the fairway of hole 18, right near the parking lot (they chose that park for the huge population of squrrels). Most birds of prey, Hawks, Owls and even Eagles are attracted by the flight of the discs that we throw. I have seen hawks follow discs in flight, and then land on the ground near the disc, wondering where their potential meal went, and what that disc is. A Barred Owl has watched me thow discs to my dog in the back yard from a branch just ten feet over my head! I have a small back yard less than a mile from several major roads and highways. By far, the greatest threat to birds of prey was DDT, which was outlawed by EPA in the 1960s, or early 70s. Now, most hawks, Eagles and owls die from territorial battles with other birds of prey, or motor vehicles.

Hey Monkey, The Red Shouldered Hawk on M-14 pic is Authentic. Jayson Jobe liked it so much I helped him post it on his new page. I took this pic with my cell phone camera in my back yard. I have several others. This one came out best.

Hey Todd,

Finally checked out your Worlds Video. Love the music, and thanx for the great coverage of the rollaway. That's the best angle i've seen on the comebacker.

Can't wait to get back to MI to play this summer. Hoping to make NT in K-zoo and CCR... we'll see how it goes.
Still never played up North. Ludington a couple times in the mid 90's, but that's it. Love to check out Boyne and/or whatever's best tup there.
Hope you're staying warm this winter...

Cheers,
-mike

You posted your music video and schedule on my page a while back. Do you have the song from your music video as an .mp3?? I just picked up a GPS with an internal MP3 player. I'd love to have your song on there for my trip to the Gentlemen's Club Challenge and the Memorial. Thanks!
