Hey, just wanted to let you know that we're having our 3rd Annual Four States Open at McCelland Park in Joplin, MO on Sept. 27th. I've got it listed on the DiscgolfersRus Tournaments Calendar. Would be great to have some players down from Columbia, MO...

Game's been good lately...went to Bristol for the race.... it was good to see Cousin Carl repeat. Played some sweet course's in East TN...very sweet. The only bad thing....we are in for a very active Hurricane season....lots of rain brings lots of 'man eating' mosquitos and overflows the sanitary sewers into our park...which absolutely stinks. ...pun intended!!! lol

Byron is about forty-five minutes northwest of Kensington. I'm trying to let everyone know that permanent baskets are going in the ground today and tomorrow at Willow Brook Golf Course in Byron, Michigan. We are having a Grand Opening Doubles tournament Saturday, April 5, 2008. BYO partner. Divisions are based on you and your partner's average rating, so you can partner up with someone you might not otherwise be able to play divisional doubles with, like your wife or novice buddy, and play in the division that puts you in.

Registration is from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. at the course.

Springfield has 3 courses, two of them are 9 hole courses with alternate tees for all 9, and the other 18 holes. There's also the course just South of Springfield at Nixa, MO. There's also one at Houston, MO...I think it's 9 holes. The person to talk to in Springfield is the Disc Golf Monkey, Russ Burns. He's got a nice shop in Springfield, and if you go by, be sure to autograph the "Wall"!
