I think winter skipped us altogether this year. we had 2 really cold days that were almost freezing.... maybe a cluster of 5 days here and there that were in the 40's to 50's . Mostly it's probably averaging upper 60's with some 70 to 80 degree days thrown in. Today about 74, partly cloudy....had enough yet....lmao!!!!
sounds like your getting some good weather to get out and play without nineteen layers of clothes on.
Yeah at Tuscawilla which is like a half mile or so from turns 3 and 4. Our course changes every month with at least 3 pin locations for every hole....sometimes the course is short...and sometimes long. The guy who has the keys moves most of the baskets...so it definitely changes month to month.
Sunday before Qualifing, I think, I heard he shot a +10...but they were running through the course, literally running. Our course can play tough when you take your time, so +10 isn't bad at full throttle.
Actually, I have played (or at least seen) a Missouri course. Though it was always in snow. My parents live in Fulton, and my husband and I have went to play (or try to play) at a course or two nearby when we go down for Christmas. I think that we went to Albert Oakland Park both years we've played. I know for sure it was that park this past December becasue of viewing the map with the front and back course (we played the front). The year before we somehow missed all that information and just got out of the car and started throwing at the first tee we seen and worked around for a few holes. We never got too far though either year, mostly becasue of me. I was pregnant the first year so we only completed four holes - this past year though I think we did play nine holes though got confused along the way so not quite sure if two of the holes were played correctly or not. We would love to do more, but we try to keep it short to get back home to my family. I'm trying to recruit my nieces and sister into playing though....we'll see!
Looks like snow and ice doesn't stop you. I look forward to hitting courses again in the spring - even if I am pushing around a stroller. You take what you can get! lol.
Marck, Check out sunkingdiscs.com for that Wizard your girlfriend lost I know he has a lot of wizards in that wieght class, just not sure about the PHISH stamp. You can call them at 352-397-3257. Talk to Brandy or Mike. Hope this helps you out

Doh! I knew I knew that unusual spelling from somewhere. Its all clear now. We're on the same page finally. I'm glad the shows are reaching you. It will be nice to add another station to the mix when things get sorted out. Just added Battle Creek, MI the other day. Once community at a time.
Just noticed you're from Columbia, MO. I'm wondering if you're interested in helping bring DG to TV in your community? Here's a link to your station:

I'm happy to set you up with copies of my show, Disc Golf Live, if you or someone locally wants to join the station and facilitate broadcasts.
Let me know what you think. Your station carries material produced outside of the area and broadcasts from DVDs, so you should be all set. There are some membership and training fees at the station, but hopefully your local club can handle that.
What do you think?
