Hey, I see you've played the Menomonie courses! There's a new website that has a bunch of info about the area courses including history and current/upcoming projects: www.discgolf.uwstout.edu Great pictures by the way!
A happy new year.
It greets the god.
This site was introduced last year and the page was made.
It was possible to get acquainted with various Discgolfer by the favor.
It is wonderful that the Disc1 piece ties to the person the person.
My best regards in the future.
Arrrgh!!!! Rained almost the entire trip! Couldn't play at all in Des Moines, although we drove by and looked at a few courses from the 1st tee/parking lot (Ewing, Grandview). We got a small break in the rain on the way back. Not enough to play Sinissippi, but we did play a putter round at Rock Falls - cute! Played DeKalb on Saturday, since it was closest to my girlfriend's sister's house.
Thanks for the info - I hope to get back there when it's dry.
Hey Evel! Talk about Karma - I'm getting ready to hop on a read-eye in a few hours from San Diego to Chicago. Spending a few days in Chicago but also driving to Des Moines for a day or so. Anyway, I'm hoping to play Sinissippi - it's on the way between Chicago and Des Moines. I first heard about that course back in 1984 - it was supposed to be state-of-the-art-back then.
Anyway, I'm running a Yahoo gadget on my computer desktop that displays pictures from flickr, and wouldn't you know - your pictures of Sinissippi just showed up!! Eerie!! BTW, love the Google Maps - have you ever imported them into Google Earth?
I'm pretty sure I probably commented on a picture or something...or we may be in the same clubs?? Not sure, you going to Worlds? I hope to! I was born in Michigan, and I miss it, but I never played golf there, so I'm really looking forward to it, hopefully the air doesn't ruin our throws too much, last year at Worlds in Wisconsin, every one from the west and south were having troubles with everything trying to turn over!! Sucked! talk later...
absolutely. different resolution and highly organized sets are available at http://www.flickr.com/photos/evilmousse/ all tagged with Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike Creative Commons liscenses. so if your use is reasonably nonprofit, you should be set!
Hi, how you doing. I found your profile through a general search through the pictures you posted of Veterans Park in Dubuque. I'd like to get your permission to use those photos, as I'm trying to put a website together for the course that I can pitch to our Park and Rec Department to get some funding and approval to launch a website for our course and league. I've thought about doing it for a while, but never got ambitious, but if I had your pictures it'd save me a lot of leg work and I'd probobly get around to launching it. Thanks!
