Hey Marc! Elsa Ashlyn Fortney was born early this morning (7 lbs 13 oz, 19 in)! So you're timing was right on! Can't wait to get back out to the course. I'm hoping to play in the Three Rivers tourney, but don't know if I'll be able to. Hope to catch a round with you sometime soon!
Again, I'm back on the road... and wont be back to my discs until end of April..
If you want you can ship out the check and I can mail it to you when I get back there.. My address is 111 Harrison Ct, Santa Cruz, CA 95062
Hey Stoney. Great to see you on here, too. Thanks for all your hard work with the Muncie tourney. It was a good time, even if we couldn't get Steve to stay with us both rounds. See you on the courses sometime this spring, hopefully.
Hey Stoney. Despite the blizzard like conditions, it was fun playing the tourney. Glad that we could help raise some funds for the league. I'm sure I'll make a few trips down that way to play the course this summer and maybe I can meet up with you for a round.
If you have pay pal, my account is Vwjettababe24@aol.com. It'll come to $32 including shipping. Pay pal will work best, but if you dont I can do check too, but I will only be here in Ohio til Tues, then I wont be back to Cali until about the 10th of March. So there'd be some delay in me getting it out to ya. I just sent for your friend request so i couldn't message ya, but let me know if you need my home address!
I've been thinking about the tourney at McCulloch. I just have to run it by the wife. I've checked the Muncie DGC forums (not registered) for details. I was going to play down there today or tomorrow but rain will intervene. Is ameteur cash payout?
Whats up Stoney--
I'd love to sell you one, but you're gunna have to wait until the 16th when I get back home to Ohio. My stock here in Cali is run dry and I'll be in Florida all next week. I'll make a note that youd like a blue one, and we can work out a payment between now and then.. My paypal account is under email@example.com
Sorry about the wait, but Thanks!!
I'm not good with geography, oh, and my memory is weak, too. I know I have played events in Ft. Wayne but I'm not sure about Peru or Muncie. I wouldn't mind making it to Indiana especially if there is a good Pro Grandmaster field (over 50yrs) at a tourney.
Hi Stoney, It's good to hear from you. I haven't seen Johnny in years but I do still see Stan and Vanderboss several times each year. Stan is still a great player but Bob hasn't been the same since he almost died in a fall off some scaffolding. I'm glad you are still playing and doing something for the sport!
I really did not have much interaction with Brent Hambrick even though I played a lot of tournaments in the Columbus area throughout the years. I was still really young, playing junior and amateur tournaments at that time. He was good friends with my parents and a definite role model to all players throughout Ohio. I wish that I would have known him better, I hear great stories about him from time to time. He is an inspiration.
Thanks for your support. Looking forward to an amazing 2009.
