Right On.....I've been giving away the Ace race discs to the neighbors to spark interest and add acreage to me disc golf course......so yeah I'd love to throw some new approved plastic. You da man.
PDGA sent me a Storm with a (overstable)^1. Its a nice looking black disc with a cool logo....I kinda don't want to throw it, but I really like what Big Mac says......"Discs are made to throw......not hang on walls" Again great job at the Memorial....I was really stoked for your improving performance. -DU
Ray .... let me know how that Drone worked out at a lower elevation.....if I want me game to better down there should I really go more over stable???? I just threw the crap our out of a Roadrunner today - I have yet to really flip it.....well maybe once at Badlands....Anyway do you have an opinion on disc selection and elevation???? Let me know!!
I'd enjoy playing more with you as well. I don't get out much though. I will let you and dave know when I'm playing Paully's or Rudy's. Paully's is more likely in the near future because it's not as snowy.
Keep me in mind too. The mountain game definitely helps with hitting tight windows.
Yep...the Cro is growing on me! I think it's the most Roc like disc you can get without throwing the Roc (from Innova). Just a heads up...I'm tentatively planning on putting #1 up Sun. afternoon at Bird's Nest. I'm watching the weather closely! Take care.
Hey Ray! Been a while! I hope all is well. Just wanted to let you know that I started throwing the Cro and I'm loving it. Was going to throw the Shark...but it was a little too slow and understable. Was looking for something to replace the Wasp (other than the Roc). Hopefully I'll see you on the course this weekend.
I had some Vasque catalysts and liked them. Light, comfortable, and good in wet conditions. 2+ years of DG finally wore down the tread on my pivot foot, then I couldn't find them around town. I don't buy shoes unless its in person.
I've got bite (lows) right now, and they are okay, but they are a little heavy for low cut shoes and they are NOT waterproof. I would probably return to something like the Vasques when these finally wear out.
