Nice pic in the calendar! If you or some of the other DGers in Australia want to put together a video of what's happening in your neck of the woods, I'd love to include that in an episode of Disc Golf Live video magazine. I'm always looking to share interesting stories with viewers across the country.
I'm always amazed at how much more informed citizens of other country's are than the general population of the US. It's nice to want peace but sometimes you have to slap the bully on the playground. The majority of these extreemists are so brainwashed they will never understand the evil they do. As Christ himself said, They know not what they do.
Wish I was there for a round, I just played in a foot of snow yesterday. 57 for 18 baskets, no complaints but prefer solid ground.
Hey bud yeah Simon and I are hell keen for some Perry Lakes action. Ill try hard not to be so hungover this time!! We are keen to join up as well so if one of you guys can email this details about joining up we will get it sorted
Thanks man! 15 was cursed age because almost all my friends and classmates were 16 or older and they were irritating me for being the second youngest in the class. Thats why I say that it's cursed age, for me, becasue I have born so late.
Tied for 52nd. First round was tough 5 over in five holes. A couple X's of dooms. (that's when the spotter crosses his arms across thier chest.....signifies OB). I played my best round in the worst conditions, 70 or +4 Saturday morning...windy and cold. For three rounds it was 74, 70, 69 total +15. I works out to very close to my rating.
It was a great tourney, the best I've ever been to, with a lot going on...I had a great time...love playing those type of courses...it's how the game should be with legit 4's & 5's. I played very conservative after the first round....just trying to improve from each round.
The Disc was a suprise..didn't know that till we sat down for dinner Thursday night at the players banquet. That's got to be the first time that has ever been done.
Glad you liked the video and thanks for your positive comments. We are fortunate to be friends with Nate (who lives in our hometown), Dave, Avery, and Valarie (who's moving here this weekend), and we play rounds with them whenever we can. Thanks again!
I live in the prefecture where the course where Japan Open is opened.
I have participated in the trial in 2006 Japan Open.
Additionally, it was in the hall as a staff.
Moreover, it acted with some players as 2006,2008 and a tourstaff in the tour after the tournament had ended.
It is a very wonderful course.
The photograph at the staff is improved so often.

Hootie,
Good luck with your goal of playing more consistent rounds, I think that will come sooner than you expect. I hope you start feeling better so you can be up for your next tournament. You have a good memory. I had shoulder surgery in February. I'm all better now. I'm very pleased to be healthy again. The tournaments went pretty well this year. I finished 1st once, 2nd twice, 5th, and 10th. My forehand remains my bread and butter. My backhand which used to be really really bad is now just bad. My putting game has been much more consistent this year. Let me know how your next tourneys go. ~David

Hey Hootie,
Haven't chatted in a while. How are things going? I did a lot of disc golfing this summer & I'm excited to be moving up to Am 2 for my next tournament. It's really cold in Ohio now, so I'll spend less time disc golfing (although I have a basket in my basement to practice putting). Anyway, hope all is well. ~David
Thanks so much, I will do my best to repeat as champion at the Players Cup.
The Buckethead track is pretty sweet, not really big over here, but has great guitar solos. Check out some of his other stuff, pretty nasty songs, I have seen him live a couple of times.
Enjoy the warmer weather and months of continuous Disc Golf throughout the summer. As for me, I am leaving for Florida tomorrow staying at Climo's house and playing tournaments for the next couple of weekends including the Moccasin Lake Open Supertour and The Players Cup Major. Looking forward to repeating as the Champion of the Players Cup, I love that course.
Then to California for a couple of weeks to spend some time in the sunshine before the winter hits. Not looking forward to the cold winter months but it will give me a much needed and deserved break from Disc Golf. Then back to the offseason training and preparation for the season ahead.
Let me know when things start kicking in the disc golf scene down there. I would love to get the chance to visit. Have a great summer.

Thanks, I really put my love and soul into this sport. It took a long time to master the sidearm throw but it is paying dividends on the golf course.
I would love to come to Australia, it is the one place that I have always wanted to visit, I have been telling people for years. I think that it would all come down to some really big incentives for us to make the long trip over there.
I tell you what, when these movers and shakers host a PDGA Major event with some great money, I will definitely be there for sure. Keep me posted on all of that.
That's a small pond in the woods you had to shoot across maybe 200 feet on hole 5 of the Jordan Creek course in Allentown, PA that was used for Pro Worlds 2005.
Yes. I heard I won the Innova Calendar drawing and my photo will be August next year. It's not the photo you see on my page. I didn't submit that one since it had already been published in DGWN for the Pro Worlds results 2005 article. The new photo I submitted was from Worlds this year. Congrats on getting yours selected also!
