Hey Terry, I'm getting ready for the FL Rec & Pks convention and we're looking at tweaking our demographics info. We thought we might get a more "true" reading of the player demographics from DGrUs members as opposed to PDGA members.
Male vs Female
Age ranges, eductation levels etc. Any way we could glean that info?
P.S. How many is Ben up to these days? Has his hand gotten better?
I am the Director of Parks and Recreation in East Grand Rapids and our Mayor has asked me to look into creating a disc golf course at one of our parks. Do you have any contact names in the Grand Rapids area willing to look at our park and tell us if it is possible to layout a course?
Terry, we are certainly hoping to develop a program and maybe have our own team one day. This campus is located in Cottage Grove... our town has installed a brand new disc golf course. We are very honored to have Dave come teach for us. I will be sure to tell him hello for you. ;)
Terry I saw your comment about the comet and I was just wondering how you use it differently than the stratus that's also in your bag if I remember correctly. I tried a comet once (z plastic) and was intrigued by it, but I already have a roc (from overstable to straight flight) and a beat-up stratus.
Thanks for the feedback about the rain post. We now enter that tempting season of disc golf where it's warmer and the snow is gone, but there's water and mud all over the course. I'm going to wait it out (easier said than done).
My discs came in the mail yesterday from the throw shop, wanted to say thanks again, very much appreciated!!! how do the certificates work, should i have received something by now? thanks again, J.D.
