thought u ought to know. mike stonestreet was talking stuff on you at marietta saturday at the summer showdown in front of others! to the good that is. he was bragging on what a great guy u r [my sons and i already knew that] and very complimentary of you and your disc golf work. said you did a great clinic on your own time at the worlds am and is always a class act. i like that kind of talk instead of a lot of the usual trash talk others do on people and we appreciate you n that u offer your services and even sponsor things here and there for the good of the game. in short WTG
hey brad! how u b man? wanted to let u know that johnny sias has designed a championship course at grand vue just outside of moundsville, w.v. recently! they were to get the baskets in this past tue or wed and start installing them. length is 9,084'. he broke it down to 2 diff pars for 900+ and 900-. 900+ is 71 and 900- is 81. both tentive i think until the final thoughts. after the leaves fall; he is to go back and design 2 more courses. there is 2 b a total of 4 courses, plus an 18 hole family course which is now in operation with traveler baskets that range in distance of about 90' to 130'. paul ashmore is doing this and also hopes to get either a 9 or 18 hole mini course for the kiddies. he has partially renovated an old barn and will do much more to make it a clubhouse, disc store, a large screen tv for both games and watching sports on, plus eats ,and other stuff. they are shooting for an october 17th or 24th grand opening. i hope it is the 24th as john has nothing going on that weekend. it is about an hour and half drive for us and the scenery from the 18th hole of the championship course is spectacular on the 1008' finishing hole. i think innova is helping with this development in return for advertising from paul.
hey brad! have not heard from you in some time. sure hope u had good holidays and ready for a brand new and better new year! say my man-i am going to the lazy life and onto soc sec in march. i may possibly work through may where i am but: then i want to get a little part time job closer to home as i drive 45 miles round trip daily. any way i will either have more time for more disc golf and tourneys with john or less money and less of the above. heh heh. i plan on enjoying it either way. say howdy to the little lady there and happy discing. hope to catch u early in the year some where tossing the plastic.
hey buddy! we 3 r heading south to west tenn tomorrow morning. lots of tossing the plastic, bbq, and catfish. i hope to get back to columbus before long. tell the little lady howdy and we will try to eat extra for you while down there. my old stomping grounds and we even have a tournament at jackson, tenn to make next sat. johnny sias got a bad bruise on his throwing arm when he lost a fight with a rather large log he was working with. lucky he did not break the arm but the deep bruise is bad enough i guess. later
hope you enjoy the pics my man! not sure what the heck i was thinking as i should have brought some of the doubles for paul as he liked them too and i just got 9 together for him the next time we get up there. i want your autograph on a pic too when i can think to bring another of you. good win today and great seeing you as usual!
Hey Brad, Kelsey Hedrick from Thompson Park East Liverpool, Ohio...I played a few rounds with you in Canton/ Massilon with Mark Hay a few years back. Just wanted to invite you to our Boogie Brothers Fabulous Flying Fest on August 17th if you're available. Nothing special, starting out with a round of golf, then all day Disc activities....picnic style. Would be great to have a pro here , sign some disc's. Make us look good. heheh....Let me know if you can make it.....K
Sorry. just could not stand it as i have several pics. Doubt i can make pike lake next weekend so John can bring all of them if you are to be there. Besides i thought the pics should be on your site rather than mine as that is out of the way for others to veiw.
