10-4 Will be praying for you, I know how hard it is to find a good job these days, everyone wants you to fill out a ap. online and they'll get back to you. Yeah do they ever get back to you..."NO" good luck man
headed up to pittsburgh to see my phils take on the pirates late june early july for 3 games.
On the way down i will hit up the ski course out there and and 1 or 2 more. maybe we can finally meet and throw some discs. i played knob, moraine and deer lakes so i would be looking to play something i have never been at before over there. what do you suggest ?
his name is Pat. he is the second highest rated player in advanced. we played in a tournament last week and i beat him with my bad shoulder and me being 15 years older ( remind him of that ). Tell him to step up and play pro.
a buddy of mine will be playing the pitt open tourney that is why i asked if you would be there. Actually this coming weekend i will be at the opening of blue mtn's newest disc golf course. Basically i live 1 hour and 10 minutes from hershey. I might play a tourney on august 22nd . The tourney place is 1 hour and 55 minutes from hershey. I think the closest course to where you will be at is creekside near harrisburg. i would rate it as below average but worth the trip if you are within an hour.
Sounds great David! There are 5 courses within an hour's drive from me. My church has a small campground that you are welcome to stay at, and other campgrounds closer to the courses. Drop me a line when you nail down your plans and I'll try to get out to meet you guys.
Thank you Dave. If you would stick a pin in the center of a PA map, I'd be under its shade. I am in Union County, and I am about a 45 minute drive from anywhere (45 mins to Harrisburg, Williamsport, or State College). My nearest course is in Hughesville (Lime Bluff Recreation Area). I hope to meet up with you someday. Take care Dave.
technically i am not throwing again. i have to throw with my other arm. i just have a feeling that the surgeon did not fix my throwing arm. it would not surprise me if i cant use the right arm again for disc golf :(
only time will tell.
i started throwing with my non throwing arm today and it did not hurt my throwing arm like it did 2 weeks ago. healing slowly but healing nonetheless. i am thinking the next local tournament i will play with the non throwing arm and play in the novice division and work my way back up until i am able to start throwing with my normal arm.
thats a nice " B " tier event. we usually only have " C " tiers down here. what division are you playing in ? It looks like the pros have to pay around 85 bucks . here is the link for the flyer.
