Bogeyman, I knew someone had asked me about a CFR Gator so I grabbed one the other day at a tournament. It is 175 Orange, if you want it. Also, I know a dude who has them if you want to see if he has some other preferred weight and color.
I agree completely-this is fun and keeps us movin and groovin. I get out every morning just before sunrise. I love Arkansas, it's beautiful without the nasty winter weather. If you ever come through or to Arkansas, give me a yell-I'll have a place for y'all to stay and we can throw some. I've only been playing a few months, but I haven't yet played with anyone.
Bogeyman,
What I could do is hone my skills for nine years..get a good rating..and play in Legends. That division is a very lonely division. But for the time being it is nice to know there is someone out there somewhat like myself. Although my disc's are not all Innova's. (C;]

Bogeyman,
I was reading your comment on Mark Ellis'es ratings Blog.
I am in your shoes, but I am 61 not 53. There are not many persons my age playing locally. So..I am constantly playing with persons 20 or more years younger than myself. Also in tournements...I am always in the Rec. division of a C Tier event. I'd like to go to a B Tier event and play in a Senior Grandmaster Division.
But with only a little over 1 year of playing...I'm wondering if I can just jump right into the SGMD or is there a # of points I need to do that?
Ken,
I just saw your post from the beginning of the year about dying discs for the military group. Did you ever do any? I liked the picture you had suggested for it.
Ok. As I always tell my Dad, if I was an old geezer I'd be a world champ too. In 2000 we played same courses I beat him by 4 strokes but he got a world title and I didn't..besides Mini Golf and Junior Dubs!
sweet, because we were going to try and play that course the same day, either there or at Empire, or Russell Gulch Disc Golf Sanctuary on the top of Oh My God Rd.
hey BJ, I saw where you were going up to Hot Sulphur Springs on the 10th, do me a big favor and let me know what you think after you play the course, maybe a little course review
me and some buddies do a yearly trip to play the mountain courses and that one is on our list this year, first time to play it and would like to know if it's worth it as we have nine courses and only three and a half days to play them, so we won't play them all, bunch of old man baggers we are
we're staying in Copper so let me know if you're able to make it to Summit Co in Aug, between the 20th and 24th, I think Steve Wind said something about trying to join us for a day as he lived close to me in TX for awhile and now he's close to Co Sprgs
Hi B.J. My reference to Bird was about John Bird, the course designer for Expo. I've played the Colo. Spgs. courses as well. Very fun.
If you play Arvada, there's another in Westminster, which is like Expo in the sense that it's a new course with tiny trees and open spaces, and a lake. If you want a fun tourney, travel to Ft. Morgan for the High Plains Challenge.
