Hey CD, I hope to make it to Worlds next year. Are you the TD? Can you install a couple pure lefty courses for my division? We know the GM's can throw righty hyzer tunnels all day. Let's see how good their anhyzers are.
Hey whats up? Make sure you're schedule is free July 13th because there's a disc golf tournament at Lake Shawnee in Topeka KS. Give me your email address and I can send you the full flyer if you're interested or know of anyone who would be.
Glad your mighty mouse disc is still working for you. Kathy still does a few dyes, but not nearly as many as before, usually just custom orders now. We have a laser engraver for tags and trophys now and an embroidery machine for shirts, so she spends more time doing those. We have talked about KC, but have not made up our mind yet. A lot of places we want to be and too short of a summer. Time will tell.
Hey CD! Good to hear from you again. This site is great for keeping in touch with all my friends on the other side of the pond. I'm still hanging in there playing quite a few tournaments, but the chiropractor is getting to see me quite a bit these days - she is quite cute, so it's not all bad!!! LOL
ive always liked your energy thanx for the contact.funny how my 1st real tourney was 79 nas in van.i actually had the nerve to enter it was fs and dis but i didnt do fs.looking back i should have, i had a pretty sweet thro catch game by that time.started tricking in 72 when i was 16.hope to see you again before we shuffle off.
CD, many thanks for the invite into your social network. Been to long my friend. I work and live here in Tokyo for Hero, but will be moving back after 3 years to SoCal next month to head up HeroUSA. Still discin' but do more promotions than competition. Hope all is well and send me a note when you have time. John
tailgaters?hahaha sounds like fun!
I sure do miss him.He stayed at my place for awhile when he was in Europe.Great man!Good times!I still have a drawing from him on my wall.(you can see a small piece of it with good eyes/it is on the left of this picture just below that red disc).
And Ted was traveling with his son.He took a cruise and went to Italy.I talked him into staying a few days extra so he could play in our monthly(which he did).Yeah, his plane was delayed cuz' of the snowstorms. It was nice here in January. He just send me a package! Some chammies, rit dye, vanilla coffee(jummy),a icebowl putter, some tie dye shirts, some handwarmers...pretty cool! He made my day/week/month!! How a package can make you happy.....
He also invited me to come to his place in 2008.Sounds like a plan!
well, actually I do still play.in 2 weeks i am just gonna play at a B-tier and that has been awhile back.I have been playing our x-tiers once a month but was never good untill last time(got 4th woohoo).I used to be first or second for the longest time but then I got sick and bye bye Kansas...no more game...
Notice all those words....hahaha
No, I don't.what words?
I was hoping that you would see Craz some place else.
i know he has bad knees. I read/heard that he was doing more golf than discgolf.
I had Ted Keith over in January...know him?
he just sended me the coolest package with Vanilla coffee inside among other goodies.
I am happy now :)))
Mister Steiner, back in the game? Howz KC? Still seeing Craz now and then or Lynne, Rick?
Back in the 90's...that sounds like it was such a long time ago? Maybe it is but not in my mind...
I am still playing but not so much the last 2 years.Had some problems with my lungs and a tromboses leg.Slowly getting better and in two weeks I am gonna play my first tournament again.See how that works out...
Take it easy.
CD, don't know if you remember me or not, we've played a couple of rounds together over the years. I started playing disc golf in KC back in 1991, mostly at Swope & Rosedale. Moved to Joplin in 1996, and have been playing & promoting here ever since we got the course at McClelland. Hope to make it up to KC for some tourneys this year, maybe we'll get to play a round or two again! Todd
Been awhile buddy...hope things are going well in the land of the Blues. Just had a great time with Hal Baby out here for some snowboarding. He was working me pretty hard to come as well.
I'd love to come back out there...it's just difficult with the timing since our A-tier is the next weekend.
Sure was a lot easier to get to tournaments before I grew up and got a job and all that jazz.
Any chance we'll see you out here this summer?
Say hi to the lovely wife for me :-)
