hey there my name is brad and i live in lewisburg tn witch is about 45 mins north of you guys and i must say that i love your course aat the sportsplex. i was hopein that maybe you could send me a list of times that your club gets together and at what course you will be at would like to get into your club well untill next time.
I wish the weather channel would not have told me the weather ... we wanted to play and then we saw all the predicted storms moving through! Hate we missed out!
Bill, I am actually not playing a tourny this weekend for first time in months and was hoping you might wanna bring a group up to Drake Spring either day for a C.P.F gathering
Hey Bill, The tournament was a small turnout, but it was fun. Chris Nosty took 1st with -1. I have some shirts left over but I have enough to do a disc order that I wanted to do. The discs will be posted on ebay when I get them in. The discs will be Innova with a print of my art. It will be 3-5 weeks. I still plan on coming down for the cotton pickin tour, but I also want to come down beforehand to learn the courses. I'll let you know when I come down.
Bill, Do Run Run probably isn't in google since I invented it and don't recall publishing a full description. I am considering doing a games blog on this site and eventually laying it out as well as a stack of other games.
Do Run Run is a multi-person game where you flip for teams. A team only stays together until one team hits a skin. After every skin, flip for new teams. There are numerous versions of Do Run Run depending on the size of the group, the quality of the players and the preferences of the group.

I haven't been up to much. I haven't played any disc golf in a while. I messed my arm up.
I'll probably make it out to singles sometime next month. I don't think I can make it this weekend. I'll be out of town for Thanksgiving next weekend so maybe the weekend after.
Triple Creek wasn't too bad. The first 9 were mostly in the woods, except the first two. Two of them are pretty crazy and will kill your score if you hit one of those trees and end up a tad deep in the woods on either side. It did a number on mine with a 6 on #4! The back 9 are mostly in the open with majority of the baskets a few feet from the edge of the woods & most of them are long. I find the signs to be subpar because those images were inaccurate and it'd look like it's a straight fairway on some, when it's really a dogleg left, dogleg right, etc. We threw to the wrong basket at one point. lol
I haven't played all of these courses in Nashville yet, except Cedar Hills Park. I liked that one as it's a bit more challenging. Hopefully next year or so I'll get to play these other courses around Nashville. They need to have a tourney like the one in Columbus OH. It's an one-day tourney where everyone has to play 4 rounds at 3 of 4 courses. (Open/Adv plays 3 courses, while Int and others plays at the same 2 courses, except the 3rd one. That tourney's appropriately titled 'King of Courses'. I've played in that one 5 out of 6 or 7 years & it can be pretty exhausting.

Thanks Bill & I've had fun down there too, despite not having a so great day of putting in the 2nd round. I'll definitely be back again next year & hopefully be able to make it to Jackson's annual tourney once again. You really came around and finished strong with these great birdies & I believe it was something like 3 birdies in the last 4 or 5 baskets. Just got back home in WV a couple of hours ago & we stopped to play at Triple Creek Park in Gallatin, TN on the way up this morning.
