Ha - that's a great question. Well, that is the 18th hole at this park and it's about 260 down hill and slightly to the right. I threw it with just the right amount of turn but the headwind picked it up and carried it straight onto the pond.
That night I was at a bar and drawing a diagram of where the disc was on the somewhat frozen pond. Maybe that was the problem from the start - my rescue mission was planned after having a few beers. None the less it was a great rescue and made for a good video.
Ironically - I'm now sponsored by Innova and not Discraft so I can't even throw this beloved disc.
