Exceptional video! Hoorah to Alan's Army and disc golf community who helped during his recovery. I was drawn to this site through a fellow disc golfer. Many of our club members know i have an eye condition called Retinitis Pigmentosa, so I can relate to Alan and his love of disc golf to never give it up! Keep Chain Smokin Alan!

I'm a weekend huckster who has trouble with that 20-foot putt, even though I can see far better than Alan. He's certainly an inspiration for me!

Great story and it was very inspiring to play with Alan the 2nd round of the Great Eastern Am Cup.

That is so awesome, I love to see people not give up like that and for him to have all that support. That definately hit a soft spot.

GO AL, keep on keeping on bro.

I've been out for most of the year too with an injury, after seeing Alan’s comeback and continuing enthusiasm for the sport I'm doubling my efforts...Way to go Alan!!!

This is so great to see someone over come something like that and still be able enjoy a sport that we all love so much..And hope he will always be able to stay involved in our sport of choice.. Best wishes to you my friend and may the sounds of the chains always stay clear.
