I play with people all the time from other places here in the Carolinas and they complain about how tight the shots are. My answer is always the same, "if you can throw it straight, tight fairways are never a problem."
Far is good, accurate is better :)

It's on a huge wildlife refuge that was deeded to the city for like a hundred years. I even believe in the deed it says no permanent structures or above ground structers like playgrounds etc.
There is also coyote, bobcats, beavers, huge snakes etc on the property, so if you're playing alone and are quiet you never know what you'll see.
