Yes, those are gasline markers. Yes, rough can be thick although there are plenty of lanes right there near the basket. Yes, there is an alternate position on the rightside albeit a little shorter @ 300'. Yes, the acepot was on the line. :-)

I had a similar experience in the hall where a goal was not seen from the hilltop.
The player who looked in a side showed me it.
When it "was almost ace."

Oh man. Good thing you hit the basket otherwise that rough looks nasty. What are the black and white poles for? I've never seen those on a DGC before.
