Shout out to Grace Rose for the info. on Bud Hill. Millington, TN- Edmund Orgil:Not as wide open as it sounded, it has some clumps of trees, holes along thick woods, and a few in and out of woods. Most holes have some length, if you can't toss far you will lose here. A few nice hills, including a shot off a dike with water on the left. Well maintained, cement tees, about 1/3 of the signs missing- mostly the crucial ones for navigating the course, finding the blind holes. Hole #9 is in my… Continue

The word is spreading
I ran into a guy who is already a member of DGRUS, such a good feeling. Catch me on the course if you want a sticker and a shot at a basket. The first course I went to, that I stayed in Franklin for, and even printed a map for, I had ALREADY PLAYED in 2006 and forgot, so that's like the 7th time that's happened this year. Master of puppets I'm pulling your strings
w00t! Back on the road. Today could be a contender for one of the best days on tour as well. First off, just wanted to mention gas. I got some for 2.98$ today. Just goes to show how we are all puppets in the politician's and oilmen's grand sceme. We should be happy it's down, and outraged we have been getting jerked around for 7 years! Leaving at 5:00 on the dot, I got to Idlewild around 9:30, beating the suggested time. It was lower than 50 F, and I could see my breath as late as the 6th hole… Continue

Leaving in the morning
Back on the road as of tomorrow morning around 5 am, if I can get up. Planning to play Ottawa park in Ottawa, Ohio (may skip and go straight to Idlewild) then Idlewild, then Radcliff KY, then on to Bowling Green for the night. It is going to be an arduous day. All packed and ready.

Computer down
My laptop screen is acting up, and I think it's going to be permanently broken any day now. It just starts flickering or turning off for no reason, sometimes for minutes and can either be fixed by moving it or sometimes just waiting. It even stays off when re-booting sometimes. I think it's a bad connection to the base, which won't be worth the cost of fixing. So, I don't know what to do. I have an old laptop, with XP, that I am on right now.
