Dairy Fling

Made it up in time to catch a ride to Marshfield, WI to play in the Dairy Fling sponsored by Arby's (they provided lunch) and others. Braem park is a relatively short course that is highly technical with a little luck thrown in. I shot good enough to win my division. It was good enough to beat everybody by 3, second round was bogey free. I need to suggest to the TD next year they should have a clinic to help the newer players. Des Moines Challenge 2008

Just got back from the tournament late this afternoon. The four courses were simply great. Des Moines should be proud of them. They test accuracy and distance pretty evenly. My type of courses. It was interesting talking to some local rec players about the courses. They said they didn't know what they had until they went to a different town and now appreciate their courses much more. SRO - recap

Just finished my first Pro Masters tournament. I definitely noticed the overall playing ability of the players compared to Advanced Masters. It was nice to play with and meet new people. I finished last for my division. Not what I was hoping for but one has to take defeat well, just as winning with respect for others is also necessary. sliced 03-16-2008

I sliced my finger today on a knife doing dishes. It took 4 stitches to sew me back together. It was my left index between the knuckle and next joint. I am glad I throw right handed :)
