I finally made it out for random dubs at Lakewood last night. Beautiful, shorts wearin' weather! I partnered up with Brian Hayes and we managed to shoot a four down (with a bogie on geezer). We had our chances to score well but still, we ended up pretty far off the ten under winning round (I think that's what it was). There was a little wind at the course but not too bad. Also in my group were Toby Cheff and Scott Hill from OR, all very pleasant company.

Quinn and I were out on an errand up near North Park toward the end of the day yesterday so of course we had to stop in to play a little. First we made a quick stop at Burgermaster for some chow and then we played the front nine at it was getting dark. Solo Round

I made it out to Lakewood yesterday afternoon, trying to beat the rain. Quite a few folks out playing. I decided to play a solo round to try and work on my shots and head game and forego the socializing even though I do enjoy it. I've been throwing the relatively new putter from Revolution called the 1080. I'd compare it to a stiff wizard or beadless aviar although it's got a little different feel to it. Springlike Day

I had scheduled a Lakewood Club meeting for this evening hoping for a nice day so I could swing by the course and play beforehand. The weather didn't disappoint but before I could play I had to meet with Sam from the parks department about an issue with hole 16. Sam supervises the maintenence at Lakewood and is very disc golf friendly. Another beauty day

I spent the better part of the day at the studio grinding on some sculpture pieces and working on a couple of other projects. I headed out to Lakewood in the late afternoon expecting to see lots of cars in the lot since the weather was once again outstanding.
