I have had a few people tell me that they enjoyed my blog with Bob Rotella's wisdom!! This was originally posted on my myspace.
Chapters 11-20
...I will be revealing no secrets by stating that good golf requires confidence. Without confidence, you can't trust your physical ability. You can't perform at your best.
...Negative thinking is almost 100 percent effective.
...By its nature, golf will try to sap your confidence. On every round, ev…

Rotellas Ten Commandments: (*adapted for Disc Golf)
I. Play to play great. Don't play not to play poorly.
II. Love the challenge of the day, whatever it may be.
III. Get out of results and get into process.
IV. Know that nothing will bother or upset you on the golf course, and you will be in a great state of mind for every shot.
V. Playing with a feeling that the outcome doesn't matter is almost always preferable to caring too much.
VI. Believe fully…

This unique event will take place February 14-15, 2009
at The Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, FL.
In Juliana’s words:
"Are you curious why this disc golf adventure has the name that it does? Literally La Vie en Rose translates to “the life in rose”. The English equivalent to this is “life through rose-tinted glasses” or even “life is rosy”.
If someone looks at something through rose-tinted glasses, they see only the pleasant parts of it. It is a way of life. It is an attitude that I aspire to maintain.
La Vie en Rose is a disc golf event that intends to combine many of the pleasant tournament aspects that we have experienced over the years as well as present new ones that will create a wonderful, memorable and rosy weekend.
This event is about warm fuzzies, feeling good and friendship. I hope that you all can experience the weekend through rose-tinted glasses and perhaps even take the attitude home with you to help you appreciate all that is good in life.
This will truly be a unique weekend that I hope and expect you will love."
Juliana has made the initial event announcement in person at the U.S. Women’s Disc Golf Championships and on the PDGA discussion board. For lots more information and to post your support, please visit this discussion thread, which will provide a link to the official tournament website:

I'll be in Sumner, WA this weekend playing in the 10th annual Riverside (think BROWN DEER!!!)
On the plus side almost all the courses allow camping, if you've never been over here you wouldn't know what a treat that is.
I haven't played in any NT events this year, but will probably be at the Beaver State Fling in OR, I'm looking forward to that. It is no longer a NT event but a A tier. So, until then, I'll be playing in my BIG backyard.
I was wondering how your season is going? What's new, what do you have planned...you know, stuff like that.
i havent been on here in so long!
hope your doin good and winning some tourneys
<3 your little sis Valerie
